Brian and Rachel

Vintage lace, ivory roses and touches of watermelon were the perfect compliment to Rachel’s ivory complexion. With the ceremony set in the historic First Baptist Church of Willows, the palate of pinks softly settled into the burgundy and amber of natural light streaming through the stained glass windows. Beautiful Boston ferns brought a hint of spring, while romantic candlelight softly flickered.

The bride’s gown was richly adorned with beaded crystals, which proved a common theme throughout the wedding. Crystals could be found on the ring-bearer’s pillow, the church candelabra, and throughout reception décor.

After the ceremony, guests adjourned to the Willows Veterans Memorial Hall. With a guest count of over 500, special attention to space-saving design was required. The head table was stationed on the stage, with the beautiful flowing designs from the church being reused as head table décor – a stunning backdrop to the sweetheart table on the stage seating the bride & groom. Italian cypress flanked the stage, softly twinkling with white lights for a romantic ambiance. Window garland draped from ceiling to floor, and crystals and candlelight were abundant. Striking florals atop tower vases rose above guest tables and a crystal tree with hanging votives provided an exotic touch to the buffet.
