
At Salvagno’s, our motto “We Design Your Day Around Your Dreams” isn’t just a catchy advertising phrase, it’s the basis for each and every event we do!
The first step to a truly “Signature Event,” is to meet with you to learn who you are, what inspires your relationship, and how you want your guests to feel when they attend your day!
I then visit the site of your planned affair. There is much more to a venue that just a building or spot of ground! I look not only at the obvious – color, style & size – but also at architectural features that may enhance – or limit! – artistic expression. Photos are taken, which become the building blocks for your “design portfolio.”
Often the best way to work with colors, textures, photos, notes and ideas is to display them on a workboard. By doing this, I am able to see how the various components work together. I encourage you to bring me pictures and ideas you find, and I dig deep into my library of books, photos, internet sites, catalogs, etc., looking for inspiration to help me design a day that is uniquely yours. I then prepare sketches, and schedule a “staging” to bring the components (papery, flowers, linens, and china) together so we are confident we have created a harmonious blend.
