The couple chose the beach at Ice Lakes Lodge as it reminded them of the beaches of the bride’s native Brazil. Colors in bright blue and green worked in harmony with the natural surroundings.

Guests were treated to a “beach party” buffet. Guest favors were fun and functional -- totes containing flip flops. Table décor was stylishly simple – three white tulips and horse’s tail sculpted in shallow bowls and set upon a starburst of ti leaves. Much to our surprise, it began raining that July afternoon, but not to worry! Guests enjoyed scrumptious appetizers and Brazilian music while the rain cloud passed. The wedding went on without a hitch, albeit a bit behind schedule.
